Massive Fire Engulfs Revdi Bazaar in Kalupur, Ahmedabad; Dozens of Shops Destroyed

A devastating fire broke out in the Revdi Bazaar market area of Kalupur, Ahmedabad, on March 18th, causing widespread panic and destruction. The blaze, which erupted in the bustling Panchkuva Revdi Bazaar-Sindhi Market, quickly spread, engulfing over 30 shops.

Responding swiftly to the emergency, the fire department dispatched over 20 fire engines to the scene. Firefighters are currently battling the flames, working tirelessly to bring the fire under control and prevent further damage.

Thankfully, there have been no reports of casualties so far. However, significant property damage is feared. The market houses a variety of shops, including clothing and other merchandise stores. Deputy Municipal Commissioner (Fire) Vipul Thakkar and Chief Fire Officer are present at the site, overseeing the firefighting operations.

Revdi Bazaar is known for its textile trade, with large quantities of goods stored in the market. This has raised concerns about the fire spreading further. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
